TOUR SUMMARY
- Fly north from Fairbanks and wonder
at the story of the vast and remote land below... the traditional
peoples that continue to sustain their lifestyles and cultures in the
expansive Yukon River Valley as they have for thousands of years... the
gold mining activity that continues nearly 100 years after the yellow
metal first brought newcomers rushing north... the Trans Alaska Pipeline
symbolizing the immense changes brought to Alaska's Arctic by the
discovery of oil just over 30 years ago.
- Thrill at the excitement of crossing
the Arctic Circle.
- Experience the rugged and
magnificent Brooks Mountain Range. The flight route passes just east of
the Gates of the Arctic National Park, the wild and pristine jewel of
the National Park System.
- Participate in a ceremonious Arctic
Circle landing 60 miles north of the Arctic Circle at the Brooks
Mountain Range community of Coldfoot. Receive an official Arctic Circle
Adventure Certificate. Enjoy an orientation and learn the fascinating
story of the surrounding Brooks Range wilderness.

Fairbanks, with a second aerial glimpse of Alaska's Arctic.

We have 3 departures to choose from:
Departs at 7:00 am; returns approximately 12:00 pm
Departs at 1:00 pm; returns approximately 6:00 pm
Departs at 7:00 pm; returns approximately 12:00 am
RATE
The rate does vary between the departure times. Peak versus non-peak
demand times for flights. One departure over the other doesn't include
anything different but would be based on when you have interest or
availability in traveling.
