Our tour operators are guided by two seasons in Alaska!

Aurora Season August 21 - April 21 when the nights are dark enough to see the northern lights
Midnight Sun Season April 22 - August 20 with extended day light to enjoy the vast region that is Alaska's Arctic.

The tours listed on this page are guided by Alaska residents with knowledge of life in Northern Alaska. They are professionals with your comfort in mind. Please read the information sheet carefully for lodging and other details regarding life and travel in the Great Alaska North!

Northern Lights (Fall/Winter)

Tour 2 -   Aurora Overnight Adventure
The Arctic Circle Aurora Overnight Adventure departs from Fairbanks by land or air and offers optional aurora viewing, dog sledding, and Brooks Mountain Range excursions from your base camp at Coldfoot, Alaska.

Tour 10 - Arctic Circle Aurora Fly Drive Adventure
The Aurora Fly/Drive Adventure travels in both southbound and northbound directions for the ground tour. Departure days and rates for each itinerary are specific to that itinerary.

Tour 15 - Arctic Circle Aurora Drive Adventure
A Guided Round Trip Winter Journey By Land Across The Arctic Circle. Travel north by day to experience Alaska's Arctic and south by night to scan the northern skies for the amazing aurora.

Tour 22 - Minto Village Aurora Fly/Drive Adventure
The Tanana Athabaskan village of Minto is located on wooded bluffs above the Tolovana River at the northern edge of the Minto flats with a spectacular, wide-open view to the south – a large complex of lakes and connecting waterways, numerous islands of birch and spruce, and in the distance, the spectacular Alaska Mountain Range, including the highest peak in North America, Denali.

Tour 21 - FALL Aurora Adventures  
e have a number of adventures for you to combine an Arctic Circle Adventure with the chance to look for the Aurora Borealis as our skies begin to get dark enough to see them.


Summer Tours   (Late April - Mid Aug)

Tour 1 -   Arctic Circle Fly/Drive Adventure
A One Day Guided Round Trip Journey By Air and Land Across The Arctic Circle

Tour 5 -   Arctic Circle Overnight Adventure
An Overnight Guided Round Trip Journey By Land And Air Into Alaska's Brooks Mountain Range.

Tour 6 -   Arctic Circle Drive Adventure
A One Day Guided Round Trip Journey By Land Across The Arctic Circle.

Tour 9 -   Arctic Ocean Adventure
The Arctic Ocean Adventure (formerly called the Prudhoe Bay Adventure) travels from Fairbanks in both southbound and northbound directions. This adventure can be altered to include the Inupiat Eskimo Village of Barrow (Barrow Extension). "All Land" option (no flying) is also available for those wishing to remain on the ground.

Tour 24 - Arctic Circle Anaktuvuk Pass Adventure 
There are two ways visitors can travel to Anaktuvuk Pass.


Winter Tours

Tour 3 -   Arctic Circle Winter Fly/Drive Adventure
The Winter Fly/Drive Adventure travels in both southbound and northbound directions for the ground tour. Departure days and rates for each itinerary are specific to that itinerary.

Tour 11 - Arctic Circle Winter Air Adventure
A One Day Guided Round Trip Winter Journey By Air Across The Arctic Circle.

Tour 12 - Arctic Circle Winter Drive Adventure
A One Day Guided Round Trip Winter Journey By Land Across The Arctic Circle.

Tour 19 - Yukon River Aurora Adventures 
New for the 2017 - 2018 Aurora Season - a chance to be at the shores of the Yukon River and scan the northern skies for the amazing Aurora Borealis.

Tour 23 - Minto Village Fly/Drive Adventure

Tour 14 - Denali Winter Drive Adventure 
Meet an informative and friendly Alaskan guide who is certain to make the day a memorable one - depart south from Fairbanks along the Parks Highway through the rolling hills that rim the vast Tanana Valley.
Visit the rural community of Nenana situated on the south bank of the Tanana River


Cancellation Policy

SUMMER: Arctic Circle Drive Adventure, Fly/Drive Adventure, and Air Adventure are fully refundable until 6:00 pm two days before the reserved tour date.

All Arctic Circle Native Village Adventures except the All Day Anaktuvuk Pass Adventure deposits and final payments are fully refundable until 6:00 pm two days before the reserved tour date. The All Day Anaktuvuk Pass Adventure deposits and final payments are fully refundable until 7 days prior to the tour date.

Arctic Ocean Adventure (with or without Barrow), Arctic Circle Overnight Adventure, all Arctic Circle WINTER Adventures and all Arctic Circle AURORA Adventure deposits and final payments are fully refundable until 6:00 pm seven days before the reserved tour date.

Barrow Expeditions a $75 change fee per person will apply to each change made to these reservations once confirmed. This includes date and name changes. A $75 cancellation fee will apply to any cancellation made to these reservations once confirmed. These reservations are non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days prior to the tour date.
